required to submit a detailed curriculum vitae and to have:
- A university degree
- Experience in translating
- Good working knowledge of Word
- Good practical knowledge of internet search engines
- Good working knowledge of translation memory tools (e.g. SDL, Trados)
The selection procedure includes the assessment of the applicant's curriculum vitae,
evaluation of a sample translation and, in some cases, a personal interview.
Additionally, GLOSSIMA & WEHRHEIM offers training opportunities to trainee translation
professionals. It should be noted that the duration of training periods varies according
to each case.
